About the show
My grandparents are black. And they have these really interesting recessive genes for black people. They have really fair skin and tiny turned up noses and blue eyes and freckles! And my Nana has this long, straight, silky hair...that she didn't have to buy in Korea Town and have sewn into her scalp.
Because I'm related to them, I also have some interesting recessive genes for black people. I have the genes that make me love Renaissance Fairs and dressage competitions.
Not as sexy as the blue eyes, but it's what I'm working with.
This show is dedicated to that experience.
